Below Deck Med kicked off with Aesha Scott screaming over her engagement news. Aesha’s fiancé, Scott Dobson, proposed in May 2024.
Season 10 of Below Deck Med was filmed a few months later, so fans are getting a look at Aesha in that new phase of her life. Fast forward a year, and Aesha’s gearing up for her big day in March 2026.
The chief stew opened up more about her upcoming nuptials during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
Aesha Scott reveals Below Deck stars who will be at her wedding
It took Andy a hot second to bring up Aesha’s engagement. The host issued his congratulations before asking for some tea on her big day.
“I don’t understand why people get so stressed, maybe because I’m a chief stew. You just sit down and email people and say, ‘Hey, can you do my wedding?’ And they just say yes or no. I’m very simple. Noodles and curry, that’s all I need,” Aesha shared.
Andy couldn’t help but wonder which Below Deck stars would be in attendance. The chief stew is very popular with other yachties in the franchise.
Those who made the cut include Below Deck Med alums Hannah Ferrier and Anastasia Surmava, with their husbands. It’s no surprise they will be there as Aesha, Hannah, and Anastasia have remained very close since working together on Season 4 of the Below Deck spin-off.
Aesha went on to add that “Sandy and Leah, and Nathan and Gael and a lot of people on the backend, too, on the production end,” are attending her wedding.
One name noticeably absent from the list was Below Deck Down Under star Captain Jason Chambers, and Andy clocked that real quick.

Never fear, Below Deck fans, there is no beef between Aesha and Captain Jason. It’s simply a space issue.
“No, Jason’s not coming. We can only bring 130 people. It’s been tough,” she explained, “We can’t bring everyone with us, and Sandy has been in my life a lot longer, so Sandy trumped.”
Jason knows he isn’t coming and has no problem with it. Aesha further added that another reason Jason didn’t make the list was that so many people ship her with him.
“I also don’t think it’s respectful because so many people would come up to me and be like, ‘Oh, we like Scott, but we really wish you were with Jason,’” Aesha spilled.
The chief stew makes a very good point, and we can’t fault her thought process. Aesha also revealed that the cameras will not be rolling. Even though Bravo asked Aesha and Scott want to keep their big day private.
