Big Brother 27 cast move-in date revealed, frustrating fans

The Big Brother 27 cast will move into the house on Tuesday, July 8.

That news has already led to a slew of disappointed Big Brother fans.

So, why is it disappointing that the move-in date is July 8? Because the season premiere is on Thursday, July 10.

It means the houseguests will begin playing the game more than 48 hours before the first episode airs on CBS.

Unfortunately, it also means that most of the footage from the first episode (if not all of it) will be pre-taped.

The good news is that the show is beginning soon, so at least we won’t have to wait much longer for the episodes. Additional good news is that the BB27 cast has been selected.

Breaking down what we will miss on Big Brother 27

Not getting a live move-in means that viewers will only see partial footage of the first conversations between the houseguests. That’s when some crucial discussions can occur and alliances begin to form.

We will have to rely on the episode editors to fill us in on what gets missed, and hopefully, no meaningful conversations are left on the editing room floor.

Footage from the first Head of Household Competition will be recorded, with the highlights getting revealed during the July 10 episode.

Nominations usually occur on Fridays, so it will be interesting to see if things get sped up and they happen before the first episode, or if fans will catch up before the first Nomination Ceremony on July 11. Stay tuned!

More from the world of Big Brother

Here’s the July BB27 episode schedule. As a reminder, the first episode airs on July 10.

The Live Feeds return this summer on Pluto TV and Paramount+. And the $750,000 first-place prize makes its return.

Host Julie Chen Moonves is along for the ride, and she should release a house tour before premiere night.

This winter might feature Celebrity Big Brother 4. The Winter Olympics are returning to NBC, opening the door for a special season of Big Brother on CBS.
