The Big Brother 28 Live Feeds were busy Thursday night. A new Head of Household took power, and it led to some scrambling.
As a reminder, Devens was the outgoing HOH, and he orchestrated Rome’s eviction. Ashley and Rome must watch the rest of the season from home.
The feeds went down, and a new HOH Competition happened late Thursday night. Since then, it has been a pretty busy house. Understandably.
As previously reported by Tea on TV, Kamu Kirk is the new BB28 HOH. He won the latest challenge, adding to his resume and building up his alliance’s power.
It looks like Barrett and Drew have to table their plans. They had hoped Rome or Jason would take power and go after some of the bigger targets (Kamu, Haley, Chuk, and possibly the reality TV icons). Instead, Jason is in trouble.
Big Brother 28 spoilers from the Live Feeds overnight
First off, there was lots of chatter on the feeds after Rome’s elimination. The producers gave us a look inside the house almost immediately after the eviction. Lyric was understandably distraught. Jason felt much better.
Later, Kamu Kirk won the Head of Household Competition when the feeds went down again. This might be more of the same for some fans. Kamu is working with Dee and Devens, so he has no reason to rock the boat yet.
He has already been discussing his Week 3 nominations. Jason, Mallory, and Lala are in danger. He told Drew those would be his nominees. But he could always shift things before hosting that July 24 Nomination Ceremony.
Kamu is also stating he might try to “backdoor” Jason, even though that term is getting misused again. Nobody can get backdoored with the BB Blockbuster in place. But who would the third nominee be to start? Kamu already promised Lyric safety this week.
BB28 Week 3 Have-Nots and more
Angela was bonding with Mallory and suggesting she would keep her safe if she could. Mallory could see the block, but Angela assured her that she was not a target.
Dee, Lala, Mallory, Melody, and Yash are the Have-Nots. Angela escaped being a Have-Not. She argues that being the Egg Detective was already too much of a punishment.
With people as Have-Nots for a second time next week, some players could get very frustrated. And fans are definitely going to express frustrations that it appears Angela is getting special treatment.
Let’s try not to read into four women being Have-Nots this week. Right?
As previously reported by Tea on TV, many Big Brother fans already feel that the show is rigging things to help Angela.
Kamu also spoke (on the feeds) about his HOH win. He says he could tell which people were happy, and which people were unhappy. That could come into play later, especially as people try to discuss the use of the Power of Veto this weekend.
Stay tuned. Kamu hosts his Nomination Ceremony later on Friday. Then, on Saturday, the latest Veto Competition is played. There is also a new episode of Big Brother: Unlocked on Friday night.
