A Big Brother alum has weighed in on the drama surrounding Chud The Builder.
Chud The Builder is the livestream nickname for Dalton Levi Eatherly.
After losing his construction job following a road rage incident, Eatherly began livestreaming on Kick.
Eatherly went by ChudTheBuilder as his username and has gained notoriety on TikTok, YouTube, Kick, and X.
A recent news article described the internet personality as someone “who is known online for livestreaming his racist confrontations with Black pedestrians.”
He is in the news now for being detained by criminal investigators on May 13.
He was reportedly “charged with attempted murder, employing a firearm during a dangerous felony, aggravated assault, and reckless engagement with a deadly weapon,” the sheriff’s office said in a press release.
PEOPLE shared that, “according to an arrest warrant obtained by CNN and the Associated Press, Eatherly got into a verbal argument with another man, he turned his body toward the man ‘in a bladed stance,’ he reached into his jacket pocket for a firearm, and a ‘physical altercation’ followed.”
Big Brother alum responds to queries about Chud The Builder
Brandon “Frenchie” French from Big Brother 23 stated that he kept getting queries about Dalton Levi Eatherly (Chud The Builder) because they are from the same town. So he waded into the controversy with a statement.
“I keep getting DM’s and calls from people and radio stations and bloggers about my opinion on ‘Chud the builder’ because he’s from my town,” Brandon French wrote.
“So here… I’ll make it public and short and sweet so you can use this as you wish,” the Big Brother alum added.

. Having to be racist to gain ‘fame’ and notoriety because he has no other human traits that would even make people/ tv shows give him a second look is pathetic. He’s vanilla and bland af. Having to resort that low to get a few likes on social media is child behavior. I haven’t said anything because at the time I wasn’t going to give that piece of s**t the time of day to mention his name to put a shine on his name. I hope this f**k boy of a man chokes on his own spit. Some things are better said in silence. – frenchie,” the post reads.
