Big Brother fans have become convinced that a new advertisement confirms a social media theory.
CBS is really pushing the arrival of BB28, with a constant barrage of commercials during primetime.
Indeed, the July 9 season premiere approaches, with fans excited about what the new season could hold.
Recently, several sources claimed that former houseguests were contacted. Did this confirm that producers will feature returning players in some capacity?

Examining the new BB28 TV promo
A six-second TV spot has fans buzzing on social media. It features fresh key art, including Zingbot, a house key, the familiar flamingo float, and a chessboard.
But that’s not all.
As the narrator speaks about what’s coming, four different Big Brother logos flash across the screen.
These logos are from past Big Brother seasons, giving credence to rumors that the show is tapping into the past.
Big Brother fans continue to react to the new TV promo for BB28
“ITS BLAST FROM THE PAST! #BB28,” one fan posted on X.
“THIS GAG,” another fan responded with still images.
“So much potential lets see how they ruin it lmao,” joked someone else.
This is where fans began to say their theories were being confirmed.
“It seems #bb28 is going to have several former contestants returning for this season,” wrote one fan.
“Some of my guesses- bearded Paul, Josh, Keanu? And maybe some Survivor peeps.. Russell Hanz,” another fan wrote.
It’s highly unlikely that BB28 will feature Survivor villain Russell Hantz. CBS has soured on the Hantz family.
“Definitely pulling different elements from past seasons! Hopefully we get some food challenges,” another fan hoped.
It’s been a while since they did food challenges on Big Brother. The BB21 cast ruined that for future seasons. But that’s a topic for another day.
One fan really hopes they bring back the “panel theme song” to celebrate BB28.
“If they really want to do a throwback, let’s go back to a panel theme song! I wanna see the contrast between the evicted people and the players left in the game! They could easily add a remix to the old/new theme and the fans would love it! Shoutout to RyanTomasAng on YT! #BB28, they wrote.
