Big Brother fans can’t wait to complain about the BB27 cast. Thus is the tradition for the hit reality competition show, and it will continue as the Summer 2025 season arrives.
We have been waiting months to see the names of the BB27 cast members. That includes dealing with numerous fake cast lists and rumors about former houseguests returning.
There are no returners on the BB27 cast. Everyone is new to the game. Thus, we will all get to cheer on newcomers to the game. But that never satisfies everyone.
As a reminder, the 90-minute season premiere arrives on Thursday, July 10. That’s when CBS viewers will meet the 16 (or possibly more) new faces.
Not every Big Brother fan complains
Sure, not all Big Brother fans complain about the new casts or even the themes. Many Big Brother fans are just along for the ride, excited to see what host Julie Chen Moonves presents each summer.
But, there are those social media addicts who love to find things to complain about. And the BB27 cast will likely fulfill those needs. Someone will have a personality that doesn’t seem like a good fit, someone will turn on a fan-favorite, and someone will win too much. Those are three trademarks of a player that some fans complain about.

The BB27 cast has been selected
As previously reported by Tea on TV, the BB27 cast has been selected. The new houseguests are sequestered in a hotel and are awaiting the beginning of the game.
Everyone is competing for a $750,000 cash prize this summer, and fans are eagerly awaiting the confirmation of the BB27 theme.
A new BB27 TV commercial teases that a “season premiere shocker” is coming soon. It also hints at something of a horror theme. But haven’t they done that too recently? The BB25 cast navigated a fanciful alternate universe with a horror vibe.
Either way, buckle up, everyone. It’s going to be a bumpy ride.
It’s also worth noting that BB27 could be a shorter season. We are getting an earlier start than in recent years, but the show may also wrap up before a new season of The Amazing Race and Survivor 49 begins in the fall.
