Big Brother aired a new episode on Wednesday night, revealing who won the Pressure Cooker and much more.
Last week, Barrett was the HOH. Angela Murray became the second BB28 jury member. But the other icons were bitter.
It got worse for him when Yash became the new Head of Household because Yash had to protect the icons.
The Survivor advantages are over for the season. But what comes next?
Big Brother 28, Episode 34 recap from September 16
The new episode picked up after the Week 10 Nomination Ceremony.
Yash said his target was “1,000 percent” Drew. He said he had to keep Drew from winning the Power of Veto.
Barrett said it was “annoying” that Yash nominated him after Barrett protected him last week.
Melody didn’t like being on the block again. She felt on her own.
Drew said he knew he was Yash’s target and had expected to be on the block.
“I don’t plan on leaving this week,” Drew told Melody.
“It never gets easier being nominated,” Melody told Drew.
Melody was very worried about ending the week on the block next to Taylor. She felt Yash would vote her out in a tiebreaker.
Yash was glad to be free of the BB Bribe. He was also ready to work with Dee and Devens for the short term.
Likewise, Devens was ready to help Yash take out one of the trio from the other side. He wanted Barrett out before Drew.
Barrett said it was “mad exhausting” not knowing who to trust.
Dee preferred to keep Drew around, even though he had voted to evict her.
Episode segments featured Melody pretending to speak with her mom on the house phone, Yash being grateful for his opportunities in the country, and Barrett speaking to the camera about Devens.
There was also some silliness between Melody and Drew.
Big Brother 28 houseguests get messages from home
The final seven players got video messages from home. It gave them each the energy to keep pushing. That was huge ahead of the big Veto Competition.
Pressure Cooker as the Week 10 Veto Competition
An Endurance Challenge decided who would win the Power of Veto. The producers brought back the Pressure Cooker. It’s the new version, not the classic one inside a box. This one has people holding swords against a panel. Losing contact would eliminate them. The last person standing would win the Power of Veto.
Dee and Devens were drawn to play. They joined Barrett, Drew, Melody, and Yash.
It was a pretty epic challenge. Everyone posted a respectable time, unlike many past seasons. And the final times are among the most impressive in Big Brother history.
Yash entered the challenge sick. He would later speak about hallucinating.
Taylor hosted.
Here are the Pressure Cooker results:
- Dee was out at four hours and 23 minutes.
- Melody was out at five hours and 49 minutes.
- Devens was out at seven hours and 48 minutes.
- Barrett made it to 12 hours and 39 minutes.
The final two players were Yash and Drew. It was one for the record books. Deals started getting discussed. Drew was desperate to get Yash to agree to something.
Yash took a deal for safety if Drew wins the next HOH. Drew also agreed to vote for someone other than Taylor this week.
After 13 hours and six minutes, Yash dropped.
Drew won the Power of Veto.
Focker In-Law for the Big Brother 28 cast
By winning the Pressure Cooker, Drew won a screening of the new movie, Focker-In-Law.
Drew invited Melody, Devens, and Barrett to watch it with him.
A predictable Veto Ceremony on Big Brother 28
Drew hosted the Veto Ceremony and saved himself from the block.
Yash named Taylor the replacement nominee.
The final nominees for the week are Melody, Barrett, and Taylor. One of them heads to the jury on Thursday night. But Barrett replaced Drew as the target.
