As previously reported by Tea on TV, a new episode features a fun return to the show. A character is returning, and drama comes with them.
Fans are also worried about what happened to Mouch. He has been the heart of the show for years, but all that changed in an instant.
But that’s not all. An unexpected character exit was just revealed. Maybe we should have seen it coming based on recent storylines?
Chicago Fire spoilers: Chief Dom Pascal is out
Battalion Chief Dominick “Dom” Pascal is about to suffer the repercussions of angering the mayor’s chief of staff. Dermot Mulroney’s character has walked that fine line of keeping his job for two seasons, but he may have finally pushed too far.
It has been reported that Mulroney will leave the show following Chicago Fire Season 14, Episode 14. That episode is slated to air in March, beginning a hiatus for the actor and the character.
Pascal will be replaced by Battalion Chief Hopkins (played by Rob Morgan). According to Deadline, Hopkins “has a long, haunted past in overseeing several Chicago firehouses and is quick to assert authority over his colleagues.”
Chicago Fire viewers will meet Hopkins during Episode 16 of the season, and he is slated to appear through the season finale. Will we see Pascal return during that pivotal episode? Stay tuned.
It’s possible that Pascal could appear in the season finale, but no announcement was made. Yet. We do know that Pascal is part of the huge upcoming One Chicago crossover. That’s when Med, Fire, and P.D. share the same story.
Rob Morgan played Turk Barrett in Netflix’s Marvel TV series’ Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders. The character was straight from the comic books.
As for Dermot Mulroney, he will also be seen in The Hunting Wives Season 2, where he plays Jed Banks. Mulroney has been pulling double duty by filming two shows at once.
