A dramatic moment from the Survivor 49 season finale featured Kristina Mills asking a jury question of Savannah Louie.
Kristina asked Savannah to name a family member of each jury member, putting Savannah on the spot as she campaigned for the $1 million prize.

Kristina speaks about her jury question to Savannah
In one of Kristina’s Survivor 49 exit interviews, she was asked to talk about the purpose behind asking Savannah that particular question.
“So honestly, if you all go back and look at all the challenges and things that were aired, you’ll see that we would say, ‘Do it for Brandon. Do it for Nico. Do it for Christie, for Cody.’ And so we were saying people’s families’ names throughout the entire season. And I really value a social game,” Kristina told Parade.
Kristina referenced her preseason interviews, stating how much she valued how Kelly Wiglesworth from Season 1 learned the last name of every fellow castaway. It was something Kristina really respected.
“And I said, ‘I want to know, did you actually get to know me?’ Because I value a social game. And I knew that Savannah did not know that. I actually wanted her to prove me wrong. I went in, and I was like, ‘If she can prove me wrong, she can get my vote.’ And when she couldn’t, I was like, ‘Okay, that’s what I thought,'” Kristina elaborated.
Later, Kristina voted for Sophi Balerdi to win Survivor 49. Despite those efforts, Savannah was named the Sole Survivor in a 5-2-1 vote over Sophi and Sage Ahrens-Nichols.

Many Survivor fans have shared their opinions on Kristina’s strategy. It led to an interesting debate on social media.

“Kristina’s question to Savannah reminded me of old school Survivor where jury members ripped into finalists #survivor #survivor49,” stated another fan.
“Oh Kristina had me this whole game until that question she gave to Savannah at final tribal. Pure hatred #Survivor49 #Survivor,” wrote a fan who disagreed with Kristina’s tactics.
