Olivia Kaiser blasted by fans after she ‘walks off’ Johnny Bananas’ podcast

Drama seemingly erupted when Love Island stars Olivia Kaiser and Theo Campbell appeared as Johnny Bananas’ latest podcast guests.

The trio previously participated in The Challenge: Battle of the Eras, MTV’s epic 40th season, where Theo and Olivia met and began a showmance that blossomed into an off-show relationship.

The newest season, The Challenge: Vets and New Threats, introduces a fresh era of rookies to team up with and battle against various veteran competitors.

Olivia, Bananas, and Theo are among the returning vets in the Season 41 cast. Each of them has experience with reaching the finals. Bananas has won seven, while Theo and Olivia are former finalists.

Their Season 40 was volatile, particularly between Olivia and Bananas, due to feuding castmates.

They butted heads since Olivia was friends with and an ally of Michele Fitzgerald, who got into a feud with Bananas because he questioned her showmance with Devin Walker. That may have led to further drama in Season 41.

Why did Olivia walk off Bananas’ podcast set early?

Bananas often features castmates on his podcast, which he initially did as part of The Ringer reality. However, that has since become a standalone podcast: Death, Taxes, and Bananas.

Olivia and Theo returned to discuss their showmance, their return for Season 41, and preparing for their first baby.

The duo revealed Olivia was expecting a baby weeks ago. A gender reveal party video arrived soon after, with the couple shooting off blue smoke and confetti for a boy.

During Bananas’ introduction for his castmates on his podcast, he called them “two people very close to my heart.”

“Olivia and I, we’ve had our fair share of tension on Season 40, but I feel like we’ve buried the hatchet, water under the bridge. I think we’ve resolved a lot of our past conflicts. Very cathartic. We had a chat before this,” he said.

“And now in a twist that not even production could script, she’s back, with Theo, and a little baby snake on the way,” Bananas seemed to joke.

That’s when Olivia called out Bananas, saying, “You can call me whatever you want. Just leave the baby out of it.”

Olivia also asked Theo if he was going to allow Bananas to talk like that. She seemed to get frustrated over the situation, telling Theo they were leaving, and asked someone off-camera to call her a car.

Theo walked over to Bananas and dapped him up, as Bananas asked if it was “the emotions” causing Olivia to get upset.

During a scene in Season 40, Bananas referred to Olivia as a “snake” because she was one of Michele’s allies. He ensured she went into the elimination round and eliminated Theo in another head-to-head battle.

Bananas is known for creating drama with his castmates

When it comes to creating entertainment and good reality TV, Bananas is often at the center of it. Whether it’s his numerous appearances on The Challenge, House of Villains, The Traitors, or his podcast.

While the former Love Island stars initially walked off his set, things were OK after several moments.

The clip above was just part of the first several minutes of Bananas’ full-length podcast, available on YouTube.

Bananas began laughing behind his mic as Olivia and Theo walked back into the camera view.

“Too much? Too much?” Olivia asked him, and Bananas seemed to approve of her acting skills.

“For a second, I was like, wait a minute, is this real?” he asked as Theo and Olivia laughed with him about it.

Fans called out ‘fake’ Olivia for podcast drama

Based on all of the theatrics, Bananas was likely trying to share a clip to get fans intrigued enough to check out his newest podcast episode.

Bananas posted a shortened clip of Olivia’s walk-off on various social media platforms, including X and Instagram.

On X, formerly Twitter, many fans commented on a short clip showing Olivia and Bananas seemingly having drama on the podcast.

“Bananas gets everyone going 😂😂😂 that’s why I love his podcast,” a fan commented.

“Olivia is so fake,” one fan said on X.

Another wrote, “She’s an idiot. Can’t stand her.”

“Olivia fooled me for a second,” someone commented.

As of this writing, the full-length podcast episode has over 10,000 views on YouTube, with 345 Likes.

Still, these two appear to have an early feud going on in The Challenge Season 41, as Olivia is looking to get rid of Bananas due to perceived issues in the previous season.

The Challenge: Vets and New Threats airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on MTV.
