Survivor 50 crowned its winner, and Jonathan Young was shocked by the results. The Survivor 42 alum was convinced he should have won the new season.
But the Survivor 50 jury favored Aubry Bracco, awarding her the $2 million prize for the momentous season. At least Jonathan got a nice payday as the runner-up.
Jonathan has been giving many interviews following the season finale, even though he skipped doing press after the votes were read.
Now he has taken the time to state his gratitude after being invited back again. Will he even want to play the game again if they invite him back for a third time? Stay tuned on that. But he did tease us all.

“You had 99% of the whole package. I know you’re not going to see this comment amongst the other 1000s unless people
You lost because tribal. Others know how to talk when they are at that final seat to persuade the jury. My advice, go to your friend and mentor Boston Rob and learn how to say what people want to hear when they need to hear it (like tribal, especially on Finale Night). It’s not who you are but neither is lying, deceiving, pushing people over, etc. But that’s what you have to do to WIN! Love what you do and the purposes you stand for in life Mr Jonathan Young!” they wrote.
Boston Rob shows his support for Jonathan
Jonathan also posted on Instagram, leading to a response from Survivor winner Boston Rob Mariano.
“You do the best you can!!! ….and then…. You try again!🔥…. and again and again until you win…don’t quit and you’ll get there eventually! Proud of you, brother!❤️,” Boston Rob wrote.
“Great job brother! AMAZING game play!” noted Paulie Calafiore from The Challenge and Big Brother.
“You need to go again! My whole family was rooting for you — the epitome of a true Survivor!!!” wrote a supportive follower.
