The Challenge: All Stars 6 receives major update from insider

The Challenge: All Stars spinoff has lasted five seasons, with fans offering praise or criticism based on what they’ve seen.

The most recent edition, All Stars 5, featured a returning theme, Rivals, where teammates had a previous beef or feud. They had to put all that aside in an attempt to win the season.

Examples included Nany Gonzalez with Turbo Camkiran, Ashley Mitchell with Aneesa Ferreira, and Leroy Garrett with Devin Walker.

While many fans enjoyed watching, some pointed out that the cast included reality TV stars who didn’t get their start on MTV.

Among them were Big Brother’s Amber Borzotra, Da’Vonne Rogers, and Faysal “Fessy” Shafaat, as well as stars from other shows, including Survivor and 12 Dates of Christmas.

While the season received mixed reviews from The Challenge fans, many still would love to see the show continue.

Recently, an insider with generally reliable information about MTV’s competition shows provided an update on whether filming will take place.

Insider shares big update on The Challenge: All Stars 6

Months ago, rumors swirled about the next installment of All Stars, as OG Mark Long had other MTV OGs upload videos of themselves asking fans if they should return to compete.

There were also concerns after a long time had passed without any updates about All Stars 6 filming.

However, Challenge insider Pinkrose recently shared an update on X that the new spinoff season will begin filming between February and March 2026.

Additionally, the update suggests that there is a rumor that All Stars 6 will feature “another OG theme,” similar to the fifth season.

Some of the individuals who released videos teasing their return for an All Stars season include Coral Smith, Mallory Snyder, and Sarah Rice.

These three MTV stars have yet to appear on The Challenge spinoff.

What will the All Stars 6 theme be?

In an Instagram post from @thechallengegods, there’s a caption suggesting that production finally landed one person they wanted for past All Stars seasons.

In addition, there are two to three people connected to that cast member who received “availability calls” and went further in the casting process “before things got put on hold.”

It’s unknown which cast member the spoiler note refers to. However, fans have begged to see specific individuals return to The Challenge: All Stars, including Coral, Sarah Rice, Paula Meronek, Landon Lueck, and others.

Regarding the theme, that’s anyone’s guess. However, some of the previous OG themes that The Challenge used included Battle of the Exes and Battle of the Seasons.

An exes season would be intriguing because so many cast members have been together and potentially apart for so long since filming the show.

A Battle of the Seasons theme could also be interesting, although it might be difficult to get multiple cast members from the various MTV seasons.

All Stars 5 became the first spinoff season to air on MTV rather than Paramount+. If the show films within the specified time frame, production could release episodes around May or June 2026; however, it’s unclear whether they will air on MTV or return to Paramount+.

The Challenge: Vets and New Threats airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on MTV.
