Chicago Fire’s 300th episode details

Chicago Fire Episode 300 has arrived.

The huge episode debuts at 9/8c on Wednesday, November 4.

You do not want to miss this one.

In addition to a dramatic storyline, the show features a huge exit.

Chicago Fire Season 15, Episode 5 synopsis

“Firehouse 51 responds to a complex hostage situation; Cruz continues to make strides; Chief Tomlin gives Severide an impossible task,” reads the synopsis for the November 4 episode.

As a reminder, we met Chief Tomlin in Episode 3. Former Desperate Housewives actor Doug Savant plays the part.

It sounds like the arson story from Season 15, Episode 4 will get tabled for a bit, especially with what’s on deck.

We are glad that the primary focus will be Joe Cruz (played by Joe Minoso), but we aren’t ready to say goodbye.

TV promo for Chicago Fire Episode 300

Below is the new TV promo for the November 4 episode (Three Hundred).

“The landmark 300th episode,” reads text across the screen.

We get some exciting footage from the episode, but very few plot points.

It’s easy to guess which scene might generate tears from longtime fans.

Saying goodbye to Joe Cruz

“We always knew that saying goodbye to a beloved character like Joe Cruz was going to be emotional. But change is part of life in any firehouse, so rather than shy away from that, we decided to lean into it and let those feelings drive a beautiful and complex story about family and friendship,” showrunner Victor Teran recently told Entertainment Weekly.

“Joe Miñoso more than rose to the challenge and delivered a performance for the ages, which, by design, culminates in our 300th episode. Because we couldn’t think of a better way to honor the milestone than by making ‘300’ a love letter to our dear friend and brother, Joe,” he elaborated.

New episodes of Chicago Fire air Wednesday nights at 9/8c on NBC.

Previous episodes are streaming on Peacock.
