The early twist on Big Brother 27 is that a Mastermind is haunting the house.
The Mastermind revealed they had an Accomplice, and the BB27 cast was tasked with discovering the identity of the Accomplice.
Big Brother legend Rachel Reilly was let into the house by that Accomplice, allegedly making her a player, despite the producers stating repeatedly there would be no returning houseguests this year.
The first BB27 episode focused mostly on introductions and the first HOH Competition. But the second episode began with an investigation into the Accomplice’s identity.
Suspicions of the Accomplice
Much debate was had among the houseguests on Day 1, with that footage shown during the episode that aired on Day 6 (July 13).
The players were asked to vote. Sixteen votes were placed (including Rachel’s). The Accomplice didn’t vote.
Five people voted for Zae Frederich as the Accomplice. Eleven people voted for Rylie Jeffries as the Accomplice.
Rylie was not the Accomplice. The Mastermind told everyone they had failed.
This meant the Accomplice would become an official player, raising the houseguest total to 17 folks.
The identity of the Accomplice will remain a secret for now, and the Mastermind stated that they would return.
Rylie was upset that so many people had voted for him. He was hoping people would just come up and talk to him.
Meanwhile, it raised suspicions for many folks that Zae was the Accomplice.
Who is the Accomplice on Big Brother 27?
Footage was revealed to CBS viewers that Amy Bingham is the Accomplice. She started the timer in the house, used a remote to hide the HOH relic, and unlocked the door that allowed Rachel to enter the house.
Amy did well to hide her secret and was very excited that she pulled it off. Now she is competing for that $750,000 prize.
