The Big Brother 28 casting is done. An official announcement was posted about the process.
Hopefully, the producers have the makings of a great BB28 cast. We also hope the BB27 twists stay shelved.
Taking a step back, a new season of Big Brother was announced for this summer. CBS has already begun the promotions.
As previously reported by Tea on TV, the season premiere arrives on Thursday, July 9.
We get a 90-minute episode to introduce the BB28 cast. It’s going to be an exciting night, filled with introductions and an explanation of the theme.
Casting for Big Brother 28 is done

It was a revelation about how the casting process was complete. Applications were closed, and the producers likely have a good list of potential houseguests to choose from.
At this point in the process, they move to callbacks and begin slimming down the candidate pool even further.
Who will make the cut? Unfortunately, we still have a long wait until the official BB28 cast announcements.
In fact, we may not learn the players until right before the Fourth of July weekend. It’s even possible that they wait until the Monday ahead of the premiere (July 6). That would be torturing the fans to make them wait that long, but the producers want to make sure they get things right.
Even though the season premiere is on July 9, the move-in date may be a few days before that. It gives the producers time to tape footage for the first few episodes. Since the early promotion for the show does not include the word “live” for move-in day, we could be in for some disappointments.
But at least the new season is going.
