Big Brother winner has advice after getting ‘dragged’ all summer

Big Brother 27 winner Ashley Hollis shared some good advice after a summer she says she was “dragged” the entire time. She’s not wrong on either count.

As a reminder, Ashley won BB27 when the jury favored her over Vince Panaro. Ashley had played a slick social game, while Vince and Morgan Pope left a disastrous wake.

When Ashley won the final HOH Competition, she had the power to decide who went to the end with her. Ashley evicted Morgan and took Vince to the end, where she won the $750,000 prize.

“Don’t take life too seriously!” Ashley Hollis wrote on X.

The note resonated with many people on X, leading to an influx of support and well-wishes.

“I love to joke around and have fun!!!” her post began before many fans and followers responded.

“Love you down sis. I know my opinion doesn’t matter much but woman to woman, if you are still feeling some type of way a whole month after the show…just call your housemate and express yourself or be done with it. All these videos with slick shade are very Morgan coded,” responded a fan who was referencing stuff that has shown up on social media.

“I’m not it’s just funny to poke fun at. like this girl dragged me all season AND after in an interview saying I’m not black, if I can’t get a good laugh out sueeee meeeee lol (this was filmed like 2 weeks ago I just forgot to post hehe),” Ashley responded.

Ashley is referencing Mickey Lee, a fellow BB27 cast member who had talked her down during the season.

“Please don’t even acknowledge nasty comments, especially from sore losers from your season. Live your life, winner! Let the trash get swept away behind you. Keep it steppin girl. You’re on a roll!” responded another supportive fan.

Of course, Mickey tried to slight Ashley with a new tweet of her own.

“750K later and I’m still the topic. That’s power,” Mickey wrote.

However, Mickey’s tweet didn’t land well, resulting in significant backlash on social media.

“Just say you aren’t accountable…it’s easier,” one fan responded.

“She’s still richer and more successful than you. Even without the 750k and title of Big Brother winner, she would be more successful and richer than you. Hope this helps,” wrote another fan.
