Blue Kim made the popular jump from Big Brother to The Challenge and seemed to gain new fans in her MTV debut.
She had some funny confessional interviews and scenes, including interactions with co-stars Cara Maria Sorbello and host TJ Lavin.
Unfortunately, her time was cut short by an elimination in the season’s second episode, as rookie Tay Wilcoxson (Big Brother Australia) defeated her in a Balls In variation.
Blue appeared as a rookie in Season 41, aka Vets and New Threats, along with other Big Brother stars Cedric Hodges and America Lopez.
While America and Cedric haven’t shared a whole lot on their social media about the episodes, Blue had a lot to say.
Following her elimination, she spilled the tea in a “funeral” video, where she revealed that several other BB castmates had been called for The Challenge.
Blue shared which BB castmates got calls for The Challenge
In a humorous Instagram clip, Blue Kim said she was hosting her “official funeral service” after being eliminated from The Challenge.
Dressed in all-black and holding dark flowers, Blue informed that she was preparing a recipe and would spill some tea about MTV’s show.
“There’s actually two other BB25 houseguests that were called to do this season of The Challenge,” she said as a screenshot showed a bunch of cast members.
“One of them didn’t get through the initial call. The other one was actually an alternate,” she said, adding, “They’re both male. Any guesses?”
While Blue didn’t drop any names in her video, she shared a screenshot of men who appeared in Big Brother 25.
Her screenshot showed BB 25 castmates, including Jared Fields, Cory Wurtenberger, Cam Sullivan, Hisam Goueli, Matt Klotz, and Red Utley.
On @thechallengeshaderoom Instagram, they may have spilled the tea further, revealing a shot of multiple reality TV stars who were rumored to have received calls for The Challenge 41.
In their IG post (below), they show Blue’s castmates Matt and Cam, potentially referring to who Blue was talking about.
Matt was the runner-up in Season 25, while Cam was a returning BB star after appearing in the Reindeer Games show.
Big Brother 25 star Kirsten Elwin also appears in the screenshot as someone rumored to get a Season 41 call, but Blue didn’t mention any women getting calls in her video. She did tell fans they can still root for Cedric and America on The Challenge after her departure.
Blue also revealed what ‘genuinely surprised’ her with The Challenge
In another part of her “funeral” video, Blue shared what she felt was the most significant difference between eliminations from Big Brother and The Challenge.
“During Big Brother, I could not go to sleep,” she said, mentioning that she was awake, thinking of how she could’ve done things differently in the house.
“With The Challenge, you lose fair and square. You have a chance to save yourself,” she said of the elimination setup.
She was also “genuinely surprised” by the amount of screen time production gave her during the Season 41 preview special and the two main episodes of MTV’s show.
“I was there for like two days!” she said in her video.
However, it seems that many fans in her Instagram comments liked what they saw from Blue Kim on Vets and New Threats, enough to request that she return for The Challenge again.
