Does Christian get fired on Below Deck Med Season 10?

The deck team on Below Deck Med has been struggling from the moment Season 10 began.

Bosun Nathan Gallageher can’t seem to get his crew to work together. Although Max Salvador has been pulling his weight, that can’t be said for Tessa Budd or Christian Trimino.

The most recent episode ended with Christian floating away on a jet ski and Captain Sandy Yawn ready to lose it. Who can blame her? The deck team has been making stupid mistakes from the jump.

Does Christian get fired on Below Deck Med?

Thanks to the next on preview, Below Deck Med fans know that Captain Sandy forces Nathan to make a crew change.

“The deck team is total chaos. This is your call, Nathan. Who are you going to let go?” she asks him.

Sadly, it doesn’t look good for Christian to stick around. Christian isn’t really getting the job done. There have been several times when he doesn’t even finish the night’s to-do list, Nathan leaves for them.

Max and Christian constantly butting heads is creating unnecessary tension on the team. Even though Tessa has her own work issues, such as not hustling or really understanding the job, Christian seems like the choice to go first.

If nothing else, it will alleviate the chaos surrounding Christian and Max and their male egos. That doesn’t mean Tessa will last the season; it just means she likely won’t be the first one fired on Below Deck Med Season 10.

Plus, Nathan said on Watch What Happens Live that he would never work with Christian again.

Below Deck Med fans know who replaces the fired deckhand

It’s no secret that Gael Cameron comes in to fill the empty slot on the deck team. As Tea on TV reported, that tidbit of information was dropped in the trailer.

However, Gael’s joining the crew won’t make things smoother for Nathan or the rest of the deck team. Yes, she knows her stuff, but Gael’s personal relationship with Nathan causes complications.

Captain Sandy admitted that she had to focus far more on the deck team this season than on the interior. While part of that is because Aesha Scott just kills it as chief stew, the other part is Nathan’s struggles as a first-time bosun.

This won’t be the last time the captain has to step in and give Nathan a stern talking to this season.
