The Challenge has seen many personalities come and go over its impressive run on MTV, including some who officially retired and seem uninterested in ever returning.
That includes Theresa Jones, who had her fair share of heated altercations and rivalries during her appearance on the competition show.
Her most notable feud involved a rivalry with castmate Nany Gonzalez that spanned several seasons of the show.
It has now been a few seasons since fans last saw Theresa on reality television, as she retired after her last MTV appearance.
With The Challenge Season 41 arriving later this month, the former finalist recently called out the show’s production company, Bunim/Murray.
In addition, she responded to a fan’s reply, seemingly shutting down their attempt to obtain more details about what she was referring to.
Theresa shared a cryptic message and reply on social media
“Haven’t you learned @BunimMurray? Ur playing with the wrong motherf***in’ one,” Theresa’s account posted in a message on X.
Many fans replied to her cryptic statement, with one individual expressing interest in learning more about what she was referring to.
“U shouldn’t be- it’s a vile, tragic story, so miss me with the bs, I don’t want no more fake love. I wish I never met any of you!!!!” a reply from Theresa’s account said.
A scroll through Theresa’s X account includes a variety of interesting messages posted by her account or reshared on it. They include sports topics, hip hop controversies, and political posts, with some occasional messages or emojis from Theresa’s account.
Theresa retired from The Challenge and has dealt with post-show injuries
Viewers last saw Theresa appear as part of the Double Agents cast. During that season, she teamed up with former Survivor star Jay Starrett and then briefly with Cory Wharton.
Jay quickly learned that working as Theresa’s teammate for the game made him an immediate target due to her sneaky gameplay and rivals.
Both players were eventually ousted. Jay lost to Leroy Garrett in Fire Escape, and Theresa lost to Kaycee Clark in Snapping Point. At the time of her elimination, Theresa was Cory’s partner in the game.
During her elimination exit interview, a teary-eyed Theresa said she felt this would be her last appearance on The Challenge.
Based on past messages, Theresa dealt with some tough post-show injuries and surgeries. A Reddit forum thread has comments indicating Theresa suffered a back injury, which resulted in her getting a spinal fusion.
She previously responded to fan messages regarding a return to the show, shutting down any notion of such a return.
Theresa’s most recent messages on X, formerly known as Twitter, are certainly cryptic. While it’s possible she didn’t post those messages, it’s also possible she’s still upset with Bunim/Murray over the physical damage her body sustained in The Challenge.
